Wind Mitigation Inspections
A wind mitigation report informs the insurance company of a home’s construction in order to determine its stability in the event of strong winds. These are obviously very important for those living in hurricane-prone Florida. A homeowner with windstorm insurance can often submit the results of this report to their insurer and obtain discounts on this insurance.
4 Point Inspection
A Four-point insurance inspection is typically performed for a homeowner when requested by their insurance company to obtain a new insurance policy or renewing an existing policy. It is far less in scope than a standard home inspection and is limited to the visual survey of the heating/air conditioning, roof, electrical and plumbing systems.
Additional Inspections
3Sixty Home Inspections also offers thermal imaging with each inspection. Thermal imaging allows inspectors to determine roof leaks, lack of insulation, moisture, plumbing leaks and much more. We also offer termite inspections (through a third-party) as well as Radon testing.
Insurance Inspections
Insurance home inspections, like 4-point inspections and wind mitigations, are an essential part of the insurance process, that helps to protect the homeowner.
The 4-point inspection is a general overview of four key components of a home: the roofing, plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems. The scope of the inspection is based on insurance guidelines.
The wind mitigation inspection’s primary objective is to report the wind mitigation attributes of the home to obtain discounts on your homeowners insurance policy.
